Researching Inventors

For the rest of this year in our classroom we are researching inventors.
Evreyone has a partner and at least 5 notecards with questions about the inventor and invention they are researching.

        Here are some example questions:

                * What was the invention?

               * When was the inventor's birth and death?

               * Did the inventor have any other careers?

               * How did the inventor get his/her ideas?

         Here are some of the partners and inventors:

              * Sarah and Ryan: The Wright Brothers

              * Ryann Raquel: Alexander Graham Bell

              * Rylee and Leah: Walter Diemer

             Now you know what your child is doing in writing.

Moon By: Luke

This week we've been learning  facts about the moon. We wrote facts on sticky notes and we are going to make a Venn Diagram but this is a special Venn Diagram it has 3 circles one box is the Earth one box is the Moon and the last box is the sun. We also did something where we went into a closet and stood in different positions and saw a shadow that's how we learned the phases of the moon it starts as a new moon then half moon after that is a full moon then half moon the new moon again.

                                                      Here are some of the facts we learned.

1. The moon is 1/4 the size of earth.

2.We only see 1 side of the moon

3.The orbit of the moon is tilted
